Gove Peninsula SLSC

A club in the Northern Territory rebuilds

In the remotest part of the country, at near enough to our most northern extremity, sits Nhulunbuy. Drive out of Darwin, past Arnhem Land and 1000k’s later you’ll find a small community hub called the Gove Peninsula Surf Lifesaving Club.

When the box jellyfish aren’t going mad during wet season, this stretch of coastline is one of the busiest in the area.

Unfortunately, the clubhouse suffered significant fire damage in February. We are extremely proud to be assisting them in their rebuilding efforts.

If you, or anyone you know, is keen to lend some support please contact the club President Chris Putland at cputland@qantas.com.au
